Preben  LundbyePreben has been a motivator with a huge motivational power in Danish Soccer for the past 30 years.
He was a great player himself and was an influential player at Hvidovre IF, winning the Danish Championship back in 1973.

As Preben Lundbye ended his active career, he became a coach at the highest level in Denmark.
He was the head coach in Herning Fremad (now FC Midtjylland) Viborg FF and Silkeborg IF.
Together with Bo Johanson, who later was pronounced the national coach of Denmark, Preben Lundbye managed to lead Silkeborg to its first Danish Championship in 1994.
During this period Silkeborg IF rose to the international level and the team managed to obtain some fantastic results with Bo Johanson and Preben Lundbye at the helm.
In 1994 Preben Lundbye founded the Silkeborg IF Academy. It became the first Football College in Denmark and Preben Lundbye became the first academy manager in Denmark.
The Academy was a big success from the start and the academy managed to produce many top players who went on to play for the national team..

In the winter break of 2007, Preben Lundbye became the head coach of Silkeborg Super League team.
Preben Lundbye is today, with his passion for the game, his experience and ideas about developing top football players, strongly involved in the education of soccer coaches in Denmark and is a respected coaching instructor in the education system of DBU (the Danish FA).
Furthermore Preben Lundbye is strongly involved in Football camps in Italy each summer, where players gains from his personality and visionary ideas.
